The Murph Challenge 2014

On Memorial Day 2014 (May 26th), Boulder Mountain CrossFit will be hosting “The Murph Challenge” to honor a national hero, Lieutenant Michael C. Murphy, for giving his life to serve our country.

We will be offering 3 heats for this event, and would like you to hang out and support your friends as they take on the challenge:

9am
11am
1pm

We will be hosting a BYO / Potluck Bar-B-Q at the gym throughout the morning and will have coffee and drinks to share!

“Murph” is a CrossFit HERO WOD consisting of:

1 mile Run
100 Pullups
200 Pushups
300 Squats
1 mile Run

For time: Partition the pullups, pushups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got body armor or a twenty pound vest, wear it.

Do not be discouraged if you can’t do the entire workout (not many can). Anyone can do their own version of Murph. The idea is to challenge yourself and do a little more a little faster every year.
